International cooperation is vital for inter-Korean relations. NCOK's key strategy emphasizes building solidarity with the global community and actively developing diplomatic initiatives with multiple international organizations and communities that play a crucial role in the Korean Peninsula's future.
Since 2023, NCOK has established partnerships with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Geneva Institute for Leadership & Public Policy (GILPP), a UN NGO, while maintaining connections with the National Prayer Breakfast groups in the U.S. and Germany, as well as young international leaders. Drawing inspiration from Geneva's transformation from a troubled European district into an international peace city, and Berlin's evolution from a conflict epicenter to a platform for world peace, NCOK envisions a similar future for the DMZ and Korean Peninsula.
Developing youth diplomacy centers across Europe—in Geneva (Switzerland), Berlin (Germany), Brussels (EU, Belgium), and Oslo (Norway)—is one of the key roles of NCOK, while connecting generations with generations to create an open space to discuss and exchange ideas about the peaceful movements toward a unified Korea.
Following the success of the Geneva Youth Diplomacy Program and a public diplomacy initiative connecting European peace cities, NCOK has been fostering a new wave of K-diplomacy led by the younger generation.
